What do you do when you offered some track time and have access to one of JDM Legend's cars? You drop everything and head to the track for a few hours of filming. A special thanks to Eric and Ryan over at JDM Legends for letting me film their pride and joy. Their work is top notch. Also a special thanks to Zane Miller.
We have set out on our journey across the USA. Join us over at the site and Facebook to find out where we currently are! If you have any car stories along our path please contact me.

The journey to build Martins treasured Hot Rod was a long and deeply personal experience. Martins Hot Rod was built using 1929 Dodge 5 window body and a 331 Cadillac motor, he talked to us about his views on what building a Hot Rod means and how friendship and a passion for Hot Rodding are all vital ingredients when approaching a build.

Modern Motor Cycle Company is our last film for 2011, and will be featured on the Fuel Tank Annual DVD to be released in January.

To explain more about MMCC, and it's founder Christian, here's an excerpt from the article ‘Much to Learn’ published in Head Full of Snakes magazine:

“The Modern Motor Cycle Company is quite straightforward as an idea. It’s a workshop and a shopfront where Christian can sell some parts and some posters while making bikes of his own initiation as well as bikes for customers and friends. Christian trained as a car mechanic, and then as an industrial designer. Having found himself then designing shitty kitchenware for a couple of years in CAD, and feeling a disconnection from the realness of mechanical work, he started MMCC to make bikes and hopefully combine his design and mechanical training. At times he’s felt the frustration of having too much mechanical work and not enough time making bikes from the ground up, but on the whole he’s doing pretty well. I think he is satisfied.”

Independent surfboard designer Eric Arakawa reflects on finding the path and passion that unintentionally led him to become a world renowned surfboard craftsman.

In this short form profile, VitaBrevisFilms interviews Eric Arakawa for the third exploration of our PROFESSIONal series. Shot on location on the North Shore of Oahu, Eric gives a candid account of the people who both inspired and guided him. From the novice fabrication of his first board, to shaping the late Andy Irons last custom job, Eric shares his hope to pass his knowledge on to his young employees and those around him.

An exciting project for the entire VBF crew to have the opportunity to capture the essence of Eric's inspiration.

"Nirvana" is a collection of shots intended for a 30 second commercial that I wanted to keep alive for people to enjoy instead of being forgotten on some hard drive. Nirvana describes that feeling that flows through my veins from riding a vintage motorcycle I built myself. Music Credits "Something Heavens" by H.U.V.A. Network. Enjoy.
